Become a healthy voter.

VoterRX™ will leverage a highly successful 90-second NatureRX© video (“The best drug commercial you’ll ever see” – Outside Magazine) that went viral to promote voting in the 2020 election. Written and directed by award-winning filmmaker Justin Bogardus, NatureRX© has had over 40 million aggregate views on social media, and its viral success occurred with no marketing or promotion, but rather all through organic sharing and posting by fans of the video.

VoterRX™ represents a natural evolution for Justin Bogardus and the creative team behind NatureRX© in refining this successful spoof RX satire model, tracking its impact, and measuring outcomes in voter turnout and civic engagement. In his TEDx talk about NatureRX© (“Does Nature have a marketing problem”), Justin lays out poignantly and humorously how this RX satire approach is uniquely innovative and can adapt to many important and valuable messages by understanding how the human mind works and what kinds of messages actually mobilize action. VoterRX™ is well positioned and timely, considering faith in U.S. democratic processes and voter turnout is at all-time low levels in American history. Contact Justin for more info on his unique RX creative approach and any interest you may have in supporting this viral video campaign for a healthy vibrant democracy.

Project Director Bio:

Justin Bogardus is a filmmaker and speaker. His film career was rooted in New York City for over a decade, producing award-winning documentaries and television about wrongful convictions and post-conviction DNA exonerations. In 2014, he moved to Boulder, Colorado to open his own production companies. The following year, Bogardus launched the award-winning NatureRxseries (Mountainfilm 2015), a hilarious satire that explores the cure to society’s ills: a deeper connection and relationship to nature for the betterment of the planet and people everywhere. The effectiveness and innovativeness of Bogardus and his storytelling have led to several worldwide speaking engagements about how to better market nature and social causes. In 2016 Bogardus was a featured speaker at TEDxVail, Wisdom 2.0 (sharing the main stage with Russell Simmons, Prince Ea, Eileen Fisher, Ram Das, Jack Kornfield, Jon Cabot-Zinn, CEOs of Google/Yahoo), the IUCN World Conservation Congress (speaking alongside Jane Goodall and other luminaries about next-generation engagement) and in November 2017 the keynote speaker for the Brazilian National Parks Summit in Sao Paulo.
