Ending the Cold War on the big screen.


As described in Our Story, Mediators Foundation’s first project was to build bridges between the Soviet and American film industries to end the Cold War on the big screen. Three “summit” meetings in New York, Los Angeles, and Moscow in 1987 - 1988 brought Soviet and American filmmakers together to consider the role of global media in influencing world views and cultural awareness.
