Over more than a quarter of a century, Mediators Foundation has received more than $12 million in funding from a wide variety of individuals and institutional donors who believed in our work. Our IRS status as an “educational foundation” (501c3) has enabled us to receive tax-deductible contributions that have allowed us to fulfill our mission to build understanding across political, cultural and religious divides. Because of our long track record of catalyzing cutting-edge social change projects, we have also received unrestricted grants which have played crucial in role in allowing us to conduct R&D into new and promising areas, including a multi-year grant from the Whitman Institute and longstanding relationship with the Rockefeller Foundation. We are currently catalyzing a Philanthropy Bridging Divides initiative to support philanthropies from across the political spectrum to work together to find common ground. We are also acting as fiscal sponsor for a number of projects that cross divides, both domestic and international. For further information about the projects we are currently serving as a fiscal sponsor, please go to http://mediatorsfoundation.org/projects/
